I really don't have to much to update this time. I have been so busy reading this book that I haven't been doing to much........
Tuesday was mine and Matts 8th anniversary. Yeah us. We didn't do anything together because he had to work that evening but I went out with a few friends to see B'Ann headline at the Pocket Theater. It was so nice. All of us together listening to her sing. In her second set she sang the song I Want You To Want Me by Cheap Trick. I found this very ironic and it melted my heart because that is mine and Matts song.
Aunt Skris is going to go up and get the kids in a few days. She is going to take them to meet all of her and Matts family in Iowa. That will be fun for them and then they will be home. This has been such a long month for me with them gone....very quiet nights that I really enjoyed the first couple days but you can only talk to a dog for so long when you realize that they really aren't going to talk back to you.
I don't have anything else to write so I will end this here.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows
It took me 6 days to finish the book. I read the last page of it tonight. It was extremely intense and happy and sad.....it was an emotional roller coaster. I found myself crying in several chapters, mad in others and happy in a few. I tried my hardest to make this book last. I was just trying to read a little bit a night but it was to good for that. I found myself wishing that the world could stop for a few days so I could read it all. I don't really want to blog to much about it in case some of you are reading it and haven't finished it yet but when you finish it we need to talk.

I just can't concentrate!
The day is finally here. I honestly didn't think this week would ever end. I planned my night with a ton of fun stuff so that I would be sure to keep my mind off of this and it would pass by more quickly. I went to a crop so I would stay busy then I was going to leave at 10:00 so I could meet Kris. Meet her for what you ask......The new Harry Potter book of course! Well I just couldn't concentrate at the crop so I left at 9:15 and now I am home waiting for Kris to call so we can go to Wal-mart and stand in line for the new book. Then I am going to come home and get to reading this wonderful book. I have such high expectations, certainly hope I will not be disappointed.

here's an update
Not much has been going on. I finished Kaylees room but it isn't put together yet because we are not sure yet what we are going to do with the floor.....get carpet or wood flooring. I think carpet is out but we still aren't sure about the wood flooring. Hopefully we will make up our minds in the next couple days so we can get it done.
I finished putting the primer on Aarons walls and was waiting for the border to get here so I could pick the paint. It came on Thursday so aunt Skris and I went and picked the paint today. I went with a more antique colors then the bold green and red. I am hoping these are going to turn out really good, we shall see. As soon as I get it all done I will post some photos so you can see.
Other then that I haven't been doing much except for the regular stuff that you do daily or weekly, mow, dishes, laundry, you know all the fun stuff. I better get back to it. I will post more later.

Harry Potter day has finally arrived!
Yeah the day is here. I felt nothing but excitement all day long. I have been waiting so long for this movie to get here. I could have gone last night at midnight to see it but I had a fear that I would fall sleep in it and we certainly couldn't have that.
Donette, Cody and I left the office at 2:30 so we could get to the theater and meet everyone for the 3:30 movie. We got our seats and waited for the movie to start. It was so god! They did leave out quite a bit but in their defense how could they put every bit of it in the movie? If they did I would still be there. This one was a little bit darker but they seem to all be that way. One a little darker then the previous one. It was very emotional also. I felt lumps in my throat periodically throughout the entire movie and when Sirious died I had some definite tears. Even though I knew that it was going to happen I couldn't help myself. Something about watching it actually happen......so good! 5 out of 5 stars in book.
Now I have to wait a few more days for the last book to get here.......I will be there at midnight waiting in line for my beloved book to be given to me! I can't wait.

2 more walls done
I finished painting Kaylees walls. She has 2 pink and 2 orange (although it looks more peach then it does orange) Now I just have to wait a couple of days and put the border on. I think it is going to look so good!
I talked to Aaron and he wants a Cars room. So it is going to be half green (on the top) and half red (on the bottom) with a Cars border separating them. I ordered the border but it hasn't come in yet and I don't want to get the paint until I have the border so that I make sure it matches.
I will take photos when they are all done so you can see it.

Please people, take 2 steps back!
It's not raining! Yeah. Because of this Matt and I took our opportunity to do some outside work. Not that either one of us really wanted to but it seems to be that you have to take every chance you can get this summer to do outside work. All it has done is rain. Don't get me wrong I am very thankful for the rain. After the past couple summers of getting nothing our lakes were almost bone dry and now they are so full that most of them you can't even boat on because the boat docks are flooded over. So as you can see it was a much needed rain but it is time for it to stop for a little, share the wealth so to speak, let the ground soak up a little bit and then just have scattered showers the rest of the summer. Back to my point of this blog Matt and I mowed and weed eated and edged and put a weed and feed on the grass. Then Matt decided to work on the nasty pool. With all of the rain it was absolutely disgusting! Very green. Scary green. After I was done putting the weed and feed on the backyard he asked me to run up to Lowes to get some pool shock. I changed my shoes and pulled my hair down and headed out the door to Lowes. Grabbed the pool shock that we so desperately need and headed to the cashier. I was standing in line waiting for my turn leaving a nice gap between me and the customer being helped. A man came up and stood beside me to wait for his turn to be helped. I could hear him breathing so I took 2 steps forward. What does he do, he takes 2 steps forward. I took another step forward so he took another step forward. I turned sideways and took another step and he took ANOTHER step. Now it is my turn to be waited on so I put the pool shock on the SMALL counter and started digging in my purse to get my debit card out. I couldn't find it so I took my wallet out of my bag to get a closer look. The man put all of his stuff on the counter while I was doing this. It made me so flustered that I quit digging for my debit card and handed the cashier a $20.00 and I took another step forward pulling my purse with me. This was naturally an opportunity for the man to take another step. I wanted to scream at this man to back up but I didn't. I tried to remain calm and kept my composure. The cashier asked for my phone number (she told me why but I have no idea why!) and I was very skeptical giving it to her because this man was right on my heals. I tried to give it to her softly but she couldn't hear me so I had to speak up and give it to her. If I would have been thinking I would have given her my work number but again I was very flustered and not thinking straight. She handed me my change and I high-tailed it out of there.
can you believe this man! My goodness! I know I am not the only one in this world who likes their own space and doesn't like for people to touch them so you would think someone this guy knows would tell him to back up a little bit but from the way he was acting I don't think anyone has ever mentioned this to him. Drive me crazy.

I know its been a while.....
.....but honestly I have been busy. I am redoing the kids rooms while they are gone. As of right now Kaylee has 2 very pink walls, and Aaron has a primer all over his blue walls. I have a complete vision of what I am going to do with Kaylees room but Aarons room is another story. He told me that he wanted to paint it green. This doesn't leave me with a lot of inspiration. I have figured out 2 ways that I can do it so when I talk to him I am going to let him choose and then I will go from there. As soon as I am done I will post some photos.
I went to the movie tonight (Knocked Up) it was ok. Not a movie theater movie in my eyes but I had fun regardless. It was really long too. Normally I am all about the long movie. I don't want it to end but this one was a little rough. It wasn't even half way through and I was wondering what time it was. If I were you I wait for this to go to DVD before you see it. Some definite funny moments but not worth the $7.00 that I had to pay to see it.
I am missing the kids like crazy. I think that is one reason why I am keeping myself so busy. We talked to them for a few minutes on Friday but the connection was really bad. Then Saturday Kaylee called us. The connection was still pretty bad but there was moments that I could hear her and she could hear me. She asked me how come I haven't called. Completely broke my heart. I tried explaining to her that I didn't want to bother them. I wanted to try and keep the phone calls to once a week and the day I chose was Friday but it didn't seem like that great of an explanation. Sunday night I was watching Army Wives and these 2 men were speaking to each other about what to do when you are over in Afghanistan. One guy said that he got the advice to call as little as possible, out of sight out of mind sort of thing but he said in the long run it really hurt his wife and kids. All I could think about was Kaylee and Aaron. Am I hurting them more then I am helping them? Should I up the phone calls to twice a week or three times a week? Very tough call but what I am doing now is upsetting her so I have to come up with another plan. I tried calling them last night but they weren't home. I will try again tonight.
Have a safe and happy 4th of July.
